We welcome singers with good voices who can read music well and have a passion for excellent choral singing. While we work with leading professional vocal and instrumental soloists, there are also often solo opportunities for regular members with appropriate voices.

A private audition would normally take place at your first rehearsal and you would be given a chance to meet and sing with the choir for the evening. You should bring a short piece to sing (either a solo or a choral extract is fine), and then Duncan will take you through a few exercises to test your vocal range and assess your sight-reading and ear. The process is relaxed and friendly; Duncan is as interested in finding out what you might be able to do in the future as what you can do now.

TCC is a well-balanced choir, but we are always delighted to hear from new singers and if you’ll be an asset to the choir we’ll try and find you a place.
