Hailed as the “greatest work for a capella choir from the Twentieth Century”, the Mass for Double Choir by Frank Martin is deeply personal, heartfelt and endlessly inventive - inspiration scorches from every page. We will pair this with the evergreen Requiem by Gabriel Fauré, a supreme melodists’ radiant response to playing uninspired music at the church of La Madeleine in Paris.
